I've been researching and the rs4 3 ss has a .12 and the rs4 3 .18 of course has a .18 in it it seems like that is the only difference. if it is i could put a .18 in my rs4 ss .12 and it would be the same thing as the rs4 3 .18. right?

Pretty much. The .18 also has different gearing, different wheels...but the motor is the biggest difference.

Hey, I am now thinking about trying out a nitro onroad. I had an RS4 a while ago but never really liked it because I didn't have my license to drive to a place to use it.

How is the stock motor in those? I would imagine the top speed would be similar to that of an RS4 3 RTR right? But it looks as if they would handle better. I think I may get one of these based on the fact they are only $200 for a RTR nitro car made by a decent brand. Any other comments on the LD3?
