Ok, my friend needed cash for his 1:1 scale truck so he sends me a text message. Basically said he was looking for $300.00 for his truck. I let it sit for a night, thought about it, and sent him a reply the next day. I assumed he was selling the truck without the hopups. I was just hoping to help a friend like always, well finally the good karma came back to me! I called him today to confirm that he still had it and I would pick it up after work.

So to sum it up, he brings it over the house...I seriously asked him 5-6 times...So you are sure you wanted $300.00 for this? Over $600 in receipts, that doesn't count the things he didn't have receipts for or the cost of the truck. Basically every part of the truck is replaced, and what hasn't been replaced there are new parts to replace it with. Including RPM arms, etc... I put my F-350 body on it and cleaned it up a bit it was VERY DIRTY and the misses wouldn't want me to dirty up the place. I keep mine inside at the moment. Can't wait to get my own garage. Ok here are the pics, everything pictured came with the sale...

Not a bad deal aside from all the integy. Is it a 2.5 maxx or 3.3 maxx?

EDIT... nevermind... 3.3 maxx.

You guys bashed the integy a lot but I've seen this truck run...hit stuff at 30+mph without a hitch, and no the shocks do not leak. But yeah, 3.3 maxx.

He has some deal with integy or something, he's really big about their parts. Different strokes, but this truck is solid as a rock. I'm really happy with the deal, he estimated over 1,200 or more retail value and I was with him for more than $400 in purchases so I'd believe it.

i would say thats a really good deal. if my friend only wanted 300 bucks for that i woould buy it without any hesitation

I'll give you $350 for it.......

Good deal. You got some great friends, and carma always pays off.

The problem with integy is their parts are cheap for a reason, they are cnc machined fron CAST aluminum rather than billet. Cast aluminum is weaker than billet do to imperfections that can happen in the casting process. I have an integy bulkhead that bent on the first impact I had. It is usable but I have to squeeze the bulkheads together with a clamp to bolt on the skidplate.

I like the rpm a arms though, least he didn't use the aluminum pretzel prone a arms. But given the amount of tools and spare parts you got I say you got a very good deal. I paid $200 for my used maxx and it had broken stock bumpers, 2 bent shocks, and a hashed rear driveshaft and diff. I have dropped over $600 into this maxx with trx big bore shocks, aluminum bulks, rpm a arms, skids, and bumpers, aluminum servo mounts, high torque steering servo, aluminum chassis braces and tranny skid, pullstart, trx steel driveshafts, and differential upgrades.
