I think Imbroken said that is a Rex P5 with an aftermarket head. Very looking ride.
I am hoping to get sometime to drive my rides as I have had no time to drive em. Go figure.

ImBroken, quit being a big WUSSY! Get that shelf queen dirty!

Easy there hippy.... lol Your right, I've been keepin her on a pedestal for too long... My work schedule has just been overwhelming lately... Now it's getting too damn cold outside to break the mill in correctly.. What I need is a few days in sunny Florida to get her goin.... grin

The mill is indeed a Novarossi Rex P5, with the aftermarket Mugen Seiki Prospec cooling head... Everything has to match, right ??? lol I still have a box of unopened hopups to replace the hopups.... It's a disease I tell ya....

mike posted in another thread he liked the prospec more. he said he's actually selling the XB8 on wifes orders to thin the stable. if you look at his sig, i can see why.

mike, on a comment you made in another post. have you tried the 1.5 pistons with about 35-40 oil up front and 30 in the rear to keep the buggy settled so it doesn't fall off corners?

I didn't know they made such a thing. Where did you pick that up at?

Sure, why not. Why do you think I am interested in the cooling head? I don't even have a Nova, but I need another engine for my Lightning, so maybe I'll get a Nova for the Prospec, and put my VZB back on the Lightning. It's good to have a plan don't you think. Did I say plan? Maybe I ment dream. LOL!!!

the mugen head for the nova should fit your vzb. you may have to drill out the holes that the head bolts go through. iirc, the nova's are like 3.5mm and you need to drill them to 4mm. very easy to do.

all these nice buggies. oh well i'll soldier on w/the hyper. gonna get a new bullet 4 it late next winter. enjoy them next yr. hope their worth the money. means u can't get beat by some1 w/somethin like mine ;)

just can't get the xb8 to handle as well as the prosec (mmmmmm Prospec if i wasn't married LOL) doesn't mean i think the xb8 is poop i just like the prospec better, kyosho dealer over here trying to give me a 777sp1 at the moment but I'm not that interested in them, kyosho to me are not all that, and anyway i like mugen sponsorship :)

its cool i was just curious. a few of the drivers over hear are finding that the shocks need to be softer than they have ever run before since the car is so light.

ImBroken You really need to get that car dirty :)

Trust me Mike, I can't wait to get my Prospec out on the track.... She is beautiful. aint she.... lol Basically, as it sits in the pics, it is a stock Mugen MBX5 Prospec. Wheels/tires, Wing, airfilter, are aftermarket...

That is what I was told also. I just got a new buggy and same thing pro spec or XB8 well I went mugen and love it! Never drove the XB8 but I had the K3 and now the mugen and I like the mugen by far.

good luck w/it, i didnt know they could get this crazy on money. i thought 450 4 an inferno way back was alot.

dont let any base ofna buggies near ya (BXs, ultra's etc), u have 2 put a poundin on them now. i think 1 guy out here w/the old worlds 2 buggy and a HODR (there's a name i know).

any1 remember an old buggy called a mirage i think. there's 1 been out here, guy gettin his kids into r/c and he'd pulled out a couple of his old models. 1 of them was this buggy. said its 12yrs old. runs okay and is more than enuff 4 his kid.

The MBX5 Prospec DOES come with yellow dish wheels & I think Proline tires. Again, I opted for the gunmetal grey scheme, & bought aftermarket rims.

Yeah, the Prolines that come with it are M2 compound Crimefighters. I think the standare MBX-5 comes with the same tires, but it has white dishwheels, and wing instead of yellow. :2cents:
