Truck is pretty new. got to driving it the other day and engine revs high but doesn't get up and go almost like a clutch is slipping. Put my foot on truck and it slipped untill it got hot then it would kick in better. Is there something that may need cleaning not sure.

I know mine had a light coat of grease inside the clutch bell. Probably from the bearings in the CB itself.

Take the bell off, clean the shoes and bell with DA (alcohol). Rough the shoes up with some mild sandpaper and put it back together.

Are you sure it's your clutch and not your slipper?

Also check the 1st gear OWB. They are notorious for slipping.

I Bet Its Oil

Ill try cleaning it, Sprayed penatrating oil on it one time bet it got in their.

My brand new Aftershcok witch is a twin of the lst2 in many ways did the same thing. I fixed that by using HPI savage three shoe clutch springs and shoes. you dont have to use the shoes but the springs i reccomend bro no kidding that will fix that high reving not going anywhere problem.lol anyway my motor pops wheeleis now and flips on its back side.so I highly advise that you change from the Losi fat springs and do the swap.
