here is my stock one at 20 to 30 into my neighbors work building,:whhooo:
Are the RPM ones much stronger?

I have never broken an RPM shock tower, but have had them flex and pop a dogbone or bend a shock shaft.

x2 I also have never broken a rpm shock tower . I'm sure if you tried hard enough you could break them but just send it back and they will send ya a new one .

Yep. The most common thing I've heard about them breaking is when people are driving around in extremely cold weather, which causes the plastic to become a little more brittle.

Here's what my hobbie store would tell me in that situation... " 30 mph with a 1/10 scale car is like taking a real car at 300...... blah blah blah"
Truth is stuff breaks..... But like the others said here RPM warranties their products.:money:

I no all about RPM and there hop ups and shock towers are coming in a few days.I am puting RPM stuff on as the stock parks break along with CVD's and aluminum bulks. And the thing with cold weather is true but it is still in the 80's here in the south.

I just dont know how the hell people do this kind of stuff! Hell I've tried to break things and nothing breaks!

That's just how it goes... When you actually set out to break something nothing happens.... Take it out for a quick tank of fuel in an area you already know.... BUSTED!:gulp::OMG: But I think those towers break alot when you land upside down

RPM makes high quality replacement parts. I have towers and arms for my RC18T, and despite being 1/18th scale they are very strong. Sometimes you do need a weak point to disperse the energy of a crash though. RPM have enough flex to do that, with the strength to not break. I'd say RPM shock towers and arms are always a safe and smart bet.
