With the release of the all-new P2 3.5cc, Italian engine powerhouse Picco seems poised to revolutionize the idea of the big-block monster truck. The P2 3.5cc is the first .21 engine designed as a direct bolt-in replacement for the stock T-Maxx engine. That's right; the P2 3.5cc will bolt right up to your T-Maxx's chassis, and it uses the stock flywheel/clutch setup as well as - and this is the best part - the Traxxas EZ-Start on-board electric starting system. How did they manage to do this? Picco designed the P2 3.5cc around an all-new "medium sized" block, so although it's slightly larger than the small-block .15 that comes in the T-Maxx, it's also smaller than the standard .21 engine, which uses a big-block design. There's no word on price as of yet, however you can stay on top of the latest developments from Picco by contacting Paris Racing (Picco's U.S. distributor) at (909) 465-1189 and by logging onto www.teampicco.com.
