My right hand took a fair amount of abuse today. That damn pull starter is so far down there that it is dang near impossible to get at!!! I ended up taking my fuel tank off and hanging it off the side, start the engine, then reattach the fuel tank. What a PITA! My first question is can I extend this about another inch so I can have better access to it? If I can I assume I just loosen the knot and add some more fuel line or something as stiff.
I had the needles set according to the instructions to it started on the first couple of pulls. Of course getting the first pull seems to be the biggest problem. I managed to get 4 tanks of fuel at an idle. At tank 5 I am still finding that I need to loosen the glow plug a quarter of a turn so I can start the engine. Is this correct? When will the compression start to loosen up a lil?
I was going to start running at low to mid RPMs for my 5th tank but I am having some tuning issues. I can get the engine to idle with no problems, but as soon as I get on the gas it kills the engine. Is this a sign of too rich or to lean? My guess is that it is to lean. Correct me if I am wrong. The needles are still set according to break in specs to I can't see it being a lean problem. Of course my next question is which needle to adjust? I am assuming it would be the LSN.
I think that is it for now.......
