We really got dumped on last night while I was asleep. I got up to leave for work, and I'm not even sure I can get the car (FWD) out. We probably have about 9 inches right now, with another 6 - 10 coming today. Oooof, may the force be with me. :hehe:

Hey, cut me some slack, it's one of the few times I get to brag about how many inches I have. :hehe: All kidding aside though, I need to find a new job so I can afford to buy another 4WD.

We got hit Saturday. Roads were bad. Since there wasn't any school, they didn't do much to them.

I love watching some of you guys down south drive. Man the ones that have lived there all their life....
Just hold the brakes as hard as ya can, it'll stop. Or hold the throttle to the floor, it'll go.
Wait a minute... Some of those same people are up here.

The first snow seems like it brings out the idiots. They don't want to slow down. There will be some accidents and they will have some close calls. After that, they act like they have a little sense. And that first snow, ya should see the tire shop up the road. Everybody waits until the last minute.

Seems like winter gets longer every year. I was able to fire up the smoker a couple weeks ago.

Hope ya made it to work HPIguy. Be careful.

Man i wish we would get some snow here. I love getting out and driving around before the plows get out. That and the four wheelers are fun until the snow gets to deep. Of course then you have to shovel....but you have a place to keep your beer cold!

Thanks digger, I made it safe n sound, n back home in about 14" or so. Ya know digger, I grew up in the Smoky Mtns, and I always thought that everyone from here learned to drive in the snow as kid, like I did. Apparently though, that's not the case. I was out before the plows this morning, and was the second guy at the office. The guys with 4WD's just couldn't get over the little econo crap box's ability in the snow. I didn't have the heart to tell 'em, a lot of it's the driver. :D

You can see where it was dragging bottom coming back home into the parking lot. The guy two apartments over has a giant 4WD expedition, and shoveled a path all the way to the road. :hehe:

I saw snow this year on my way back from the desert in Kyrgyzstan but here in Okinawa we are currently at 59 degrees and looks like we are getting more RAIN. So looks like I have one RC I can still play with at least. Oh yeah for all of you who ARE actually having bad weather like digger said be careful out there there are a ton on 'tards on the road.

Yea i heard about that georgia not really getting big storms like that too often. I'm in NY and we get dumped on all the time! Last friday i woke up to a good 5 inches and we ended friday night with about a foot maybe a little more. All the weather channels are calling for another foot tomorrow night, i LOVE snow!

It was always fun in Kansas when the smacktards in the big 4X4s would just whiz by in the snow and then end up in the ditch a 100 yards up the road. I was driving a lightly hopped up Camaro at the time and never went into the ditch once......

Maybe it really is the driver not so much the vehicle.
