I told Christian I would post pics of us bashing in shorts here in AZ sometime in January, but since the NE is getting a blizzard now, I figured why wait.
We had a nice 5 hour bash session at Rob's house yesterday. Rob is the owner of Cutting Edge Manufacturing and RC Solutions. He lives in the desert near me and has a track too. So we got together and swilled some beer and romped cars all day. It was actually work related, as we had to test the new AE MGT roll cage and shock tower prototypes. We also had 4 Cybermaxxes, 1 t-maxx, 2 Savages, and my RC 10GT and Storm buggy.
For the record, my storm was the fastest (of course), the Savages had a slight handling edge on the Maxxes, and the MGTs are much slower, in power and handling. Plus 1 MGT blew up a diff. My RC10 was the suprize of the bunch, as it was very competitive, but harder to drive consistantly.
The guy sitting on the ground is watching recorded in-car video. Stay tuned for more about that when we get it working better.
