The Visible V-8 kit.

Well for x-mas this year I got a 1:4 Scale V-8 kit. It comes competely unassembled so I get to build it. It comes with completely functioning valves/camshaft, and the block is completely clear so you can see all the internal parts. It has a crank on the out side so you can watch all the pistons and such. I'm really excited to build it .

I big into sports cars and stuff so Santa (my Aunt) thought this would be a cool gift, and it is. Its awsome!

Anyways just thought I'd share.

Like Zandor said, it was a LONG time ago and nothing like the ones today.

Yeah, its a model of a V-8, but the block is clear. It looks really cool, can't wait to build it

i wish i still had it..like most stuff from back then i have no idea where it is now

ya i got it for christmas as well last year, it was a fun build but alot of the pieces seemed to not want to go together properly and flush. Guess that is a fact with plastic models, but it was fun anyway

Yes Wardo I believe they made a few bucks on those kits. The particular one in question used to be much much more expensive.

I got one two years ago. I hated it!! Concept = Cool but in real life I wanted tos hoot it. I had to ghetto rig that thign for ever before i finalyl got it to fit and then you'd got o turn the crank and the lack of oil would make somethign break.

No lie. I'll pull a real motor and rebuild it before one of those again!
