I guess we’re all on a watch list!
Yeah, when I made my own vaping juice, my current RC room was my laboratory. Anybody that didn't know what it was would have sworn it was a meth lab. With the stirrer, mixer, flasks, beakers, syringes, and 500+ flavorings and other chemicals, I always imagined the Feds busting down the door and arresting me, only to find out later I wasn't doing anything illegal. The 1 lb bag of Malic Acid looking like a bag of cocaine sitting out in the open didn't help a bit 😅

Got anymore of that.. malic acid?

No. When my apartment got robbed 10 years ago they stole that, along with a bunch of flavoring and mods. I can only hope they laid out a 6" pinky sized line and blew their brains out. Black Death ultra sour candies would be nothing compared to how bad that would be 🤣

I got the Vitavon steering kit for my Losi Baja Rey 2.0 Isenhouer F100 in the mail today. It was the first time I had that truck apart and it was a chore to install those new parts, at least the way I did it. It did remove some slop. I think replacing the steering servo will complete the job. I better get after it... I only have a few months until the snow is gone! (If it's even gone by then... we're supposed to get hammered this weekend.)

I'm thinking about getting that for my Hammer Rey. :thumbs-up:
I wonder if your Hammer Rey has the same steering set up...

I was a little bit disappointed with how much slop remained after all the trouble of installing the parts. Most of it seemed to be from the servo. Someone from the Losi Baja Rey Facebook group just told me that replacing the stock servo horn would eliminate a lot of that; the stock horn has an insert that creates some slop.

It's all put back together and I can't see the center of the horn to tell if there's actually an insert there. It was so frustrating to get everything apart to install the new parts and then put everything back together that I can't bear to take it all apart again to look at the servo horn. One of these days...

I have a couple of really sturdy horns that came with the servo I installed in my Optic kit... I used the aluminum horn that came with the kit. When I get motivated enough to tear the Baja Rey apart again, I'll see if changing out the horn will help or if I need to change out the servo as well..
