They're better than basically anything else in the price range. Their software has gotten rid of a lot of thermal waste. Thing runs great. So I got some spares for future stuff.

I spiked the phone like a football this morning when it told me scrolling was too hard.
I have zero tollerance for it. My cell phone is a spyware piece of crap. Not XC's fault but I am10000% not interested in ANYTHING that involves google, meta, android....... and RC.

I would use the app on another device. Tune the esc. Then delete the app.

I support companies thatdo not involve companies like those. HobbyWing legend XR10 is what I just bought rather than an xc.

I can use the card whenever and wherever. Google is NEVER goung to require an update or change permission requirements.
No Terms Of Sale or usage agreements.
No contract.

I'll wait for the card.

Can my cell spy on me? Yup. So can traffic lights, the home improvement store, cops, etc… I’m not about to let my HOBBY suffer because of the way my fancy ESC connects to my phone for proper setup adjustments on the fly… I'm all for “taking a stand”, but not when LITTLEMOTOR suffers over doing so, far more than those I’m taking the stand AGAINST.. It’s 2025, and NOBODY is “safe” from being spied on. I’m only here for the blink of an eye, and I’m not gonna make my life more difficult because of how things are…

They can take my off world alien artifacts from my cold dead nanobot infested body. But in the meantime. I like these C8s.

I will not let them destroy the world I grew up in. I won't fund it either. I will walk away from this hobby like a bad nickel when google takes over. Not a thought about it.
No wifi in my home, no smart tvs, no internet connection other than my spiked like football daily spyware phone.
My $1000 laptop, just about perfect condition btw, is obsolete and useless because of the corporate stunts like planned obsolescence.
Its just another scam. I'm not buying.
I will walk, take a dirtbike or a freakung skateboard the day no more normal 1:1's are left too.

My hobby doesn't suffer because an esc company won't make a programmer card. I just don't buy them. I don't feel like I've missed out on anything here.

Just because a theif thinks its ok to steal doesn't make it right ok or something I should adjust to.
The only thing I've had to adjust there is a holster.
