I'm saving up and going brushless in the spring. Is there a motor to replace the 12t titian that's worth upgrading to in the mean time? $30-60 range. It's for a rustler/stampede. 2.8 talons, s rooster, 8 cell. Strictly a basher. Big air. I'd like it to be able to handle a 10.8 volt battery, because this is what I want to run the brushless with. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Nobody's ever replaced a titian in their stock xl5 with something better?

I'm interested as well, i got that motor in the boys and i keep smoking the battery. i need something the stock esc will handle. either a good cheep 12t 550 or a 15t 540.
