So why learn?

LOL bro. I have quite the photgraphic longterm memory but my short-term memory is almost non-existent @ times. I haven't lost an actual car yet though (knock on wood).

As for being a mod Eddy.....I've seen your job on a web forum of any genre and I don't want it. Contraty to popular belief it's quite the selfless service IMHO. I have to ask though, after all that reading, doesn't allot of it start to sound like the Snoopy voice..haha. WHa wha wha whah whah

Peace

Back to the clutch post... i ran mine leading and it messed them all up.

This was with the stock 2.5 clutch on a .21 conversion. I did it to get a better bite off the line. I didn't notice much different. I've been running the same clutch since i bought the truck in july. 1 gallon on the 2.5 and 1 gallon with an OS 15 and 2 gallons with an OS 21.

How long do these things last?? I've probably cranked through 10 gallons on my xxx-nt. I replaced the shoes in it on gallon #2. One of the clutch pins came loose and torched it. Otherwise, i've run at least 8 gallons on that sucker.

A friend of mine has the same maxx setup i do with a 21. He tried integy's aluminum shoes and they fried in less than a gallon. They actually melted to his clutch spring. he had to cut the shoes off the flywheel with his dremmel.

Olds - Thanks for the back on topic info bro. I'm gonna stick with my stock TraxxASS cluth setup for now. I ordered the rest of the parst from RRP for my ALL-ALLuminum tranny....cept for the case of course. I might end up investing in the case too but I'm not gonna spend phuckin $90+.

Peace

I've posted so much crap lately i can't remember if this is the one where i said i did use a aluminum trans case. I scanned through and didn't see it though.

I figure if you dump $150 on gears, what's another $90 to make sure the mesh isn't going to change on you. I did the same thing, but i did go with the aluminum trans case. Actually, it was a christmas gift from my wife. Along with all the RRP steel gears and FOC.

This site has one for $90. It was $79 when my wife bought it though.
