Well i turned the truck on but it goes by itself. I turned down the throttle on my radio it worked but once i give gas its hell. It goes by itself, i checked the servo linkage and what happens is that it gets stuck while giving throttle. But what do i need to do. HELP!

Check for metal to metal rubbing. That can cause glitching. If that is clean check your crystals. I had that problem and I had to put some shiring tubing on the rods of my linkages so there would be no metal to metal contact.

Let us know

Where or how does the linkage get stuck? Can you post a pick? We need a better description of the linkage hanging up so we can advise on the fix.

Well I'm at my bros house. There are linkages, the one on the right of the tmaxx is getting stuck. It's at the very end of linkage where its snaps on to release and give throttle, right by the egine. When i give it throttle it goes all the way out and i can't do nutn with my control. Their is no metal touching.

Maybe your linkage is binding somewhere. Is it straight? Is it coming in contact with something else?

Maybe your batts are dead and its staying on the last information the reciever got.
With that said check your servo. It maybe burnt out.

I'm gonna change those. see what happens later. THnx guys.

I never had the stock linkage on the 2.5 maxx work right. It always stuck. It would jam the carb barrol up and hang at about 1/4 to 1/2 throttle all the time.

the servos are new. what other linkages can i get for the tmaxx

I'm wondering if the servo reverse is flipped? Also, is this the 2.5 or the .15? Finally, is the carb slide or rotary? I don't think there are "in-the-box" after-market linkages for this, but you can always rig something up other than the stocker set-up.

If you still have problems, may want to snap a few pictures and post 'em. It'll help a lot.

sounds like maybe the plastic pc that attaches to your carb may have slipped
try adjusting that without the truck on and see if it still does it ,
with my maxx that little piece stripped out and i had to adjust the throw of the servo up that far that is would actually flip the linkage and pull the to wide open
kinda hard to explain but a pic would be great

yea i understand what you r saying i just got a t maxx that was originaly a pro 15 t maxx and i had to drill the holes for the throttle bellcrank. when i drilled the holes they were off a little bit. so every once and a while it would kind of snap it to wide open and would not return because the throttle servo forced it to far. So what i did is loosened the one tranny screw right below the throttle linkage and put a body clip on the screw and tightened it so the linkage would go thru it. the body clip acts as a stop so it cannot go far enough to get stuck. It has worked for me. hope u understand what i am saying. here is a pic. Picture
