Nail biting time. Down to my last layer of detail. No doubt I'll be done by midnight tomorrow, but it will be right down to the whistle. I guess that's what I get for staring blankly at it for 3 weeks.

ahhh... breaktime! my neck and back are killin me but I have to finish painting tonight or I won't make it. I think I might cut it out in my spare time at work tomorrow and take photos there since there's a lot more light. One hour photo at Wal-Mart and I should be good to go.

Digger, I finally found Imageshack. You take your memory stick, load them onto your computer in "My Pictures" (I make a seperate folder for my use) and then once registered with Imageshack, you hit "Upload Images" and then hit browse, look over your pics on "My Pictures", select image, upload, then use the resize option for 640X480 and right click to copy, paste into "reply" on RCNT. Got it?!? Fudge, last beer for the night.

I just finished painting. I'm sooo freakin pisssed. I don't even like it. Bad color choice. I think I'm just tired and wantin to get it done. Now I'm mad cuz it looks like hell. Oh well, I'll post it tomorrow.

why the hell did I insist on doing a 1/18. Holy crap it's hard to get into this thing.... hehe

I agree. I could not get the airbrush into the body to do the sides very well. The bug will be my last 1/18th body.

1/18 is definately more difficult. One I did for a friend a long time ago was the biggest pain in the ass body I ever painted.

I just realized I didn't follow the rules 100%. I put "RCNT" on mine instead of "RCnitrotalk.com" I hope I'm not DQ'd. Not that it matters, I'm sooo freakin pissed off that I screwed it up. I guess that's what I get for tryin to stay up till 2:30 in the morning. I was so upset when I finished painting I almost felt like I was gonna be sick.I don't even want to post it but I will anyways to be a good sport. I tell you what though... I learned a shitload from this contest.

I think the hideous color clashing stripes on mine would qualify for "WTF"... you'll see what I mean. I just need to cut it out now.
