Polly S products are very common to model train stores, so if your local hobby place does not have it whip out the internet phone book and find a train shop. Most likely they will have it on hand.

That was not poop talking, I actually had it on the hood LOL but when it all went to crap I pulled it off...you can still see some of the out line from when I cut it out. As for giving up....NOPE! I'll post the pics of the screwed up paint and win my WTF award LOL

I did a test run of my idea last night on a buggy body. No good. Might have to break out the airbrush and practice. Can't do what I want to do with a rattle can.

how's everybody's project goin? Anybody finish yet? hell, I havn't even cleaned my body yet, lol! I'm having a hard time trying to find time to work on it. I'm probably gettinin waaay over my head but it's ok. Time to see what I can really do when I put my mind to it. Good luck everybody!

I cleaned mine and painted several coats of liquid mask on it. Still haven't come up with a design....

Been working 10hr shifts and 6 days a week. Now I have this weekend off and I'm down with the flu or something. :shrug:
Going to down some alka-seltzers and try to work on it later.

Don't give up guys. We still have about 2 and 1/2 weeks left.

Body is clean, cut, windows masked. Main design is on paper but not on the body yet. Air compressor is 4 miles away and I haven't gone to pick it up yet so I haven't liquid masked or painted yet. Still plenty of time to destroy the rest of you.

Alright everyone! Here's my entry, warts and all! I'm sure it's a toss up between the rattle can and WTF categories. Just try not to laugh too hard!!

I hate how the window tinting makes my daughters arms appear like I hacked them with a rusty butter knife! Live and learn!

Anyhow, there it is, in all it's finger-painting glory! While I realize it sucks, I have to believe it doesn't suck nearly as bad as what SMaxxin will end up posting up! :loser:

Special thanks to 4U2NV for the killer RCNT and Monkey Wrench decals! No doubt, they're the ONLY reedeming parts of this paint job! Thanks bro!

Thanks, you're being too kind! First time using liquid mask and you can tell where I didn't put it on thick enough and trim it clean enough, but I'm learning! Just got an airbrush set as well, so I'm going to be working on my skills there for the next one, but I have a long way to go before I get the same caliber of skills like you, man! Still amazes me you busted that out in two days!

well to be honest I'm not being over kind .. it looks clean and the colors go together nice ...LM is funny some times ... i some times can get away with three heavy coats and other times it seems to work better with 5-6 light coats...foam brush .. never tried a brisle brush yet and after i'm done using the foam brush .. in a zip lock bag it goes .. there is a ton of left over LM in that brush that i can't see throwing away...
but seeing how i can't seem to get any stickers i might be out of the comp...

Nice job Monkey.... I've used a bristle brush for LM for my only time and it was OK. I wasted a ton of it because it made its way up high and i couldnt get it out onto the body.... I wasn't very impressed with the Hobbico brand. I'm gonna try Bob Dively's next with a foam brush
