Hey guys,

Getting my first car pretty soon nad i was just wondering what would be a good first mod.

I already have a CV-RX engine and then a few difrent race tires, which i will need to find some glue for, so i was thinking around suspension. I don't know if the suspension has to do with track conditions though but i know all the tracks around here are mostly lossely packed and has limited straight aways.

Do you think i should upgrade with some Adam Drake products? Will those parts last a little while on the track?

Well tell me what you guys think.

Tahnks,

My two cents would be:

RPM Front Bumper....protects the front A-Arms...about $8
RRP metal diff gear...beefs up the diff....About $18
Trinity Aluminum rear pivot block.....Strengthens the rear end...about $20

The Drake goods are graphite...they shed a little weight, but IMO aren't any stronger, so not worth the $$.

Good Luck with your xxx-nt.....great little truck!

Mr T

Look into getting a Recahrgeable RX pack and failsafe.

well i have bought a HPI controller and reciever and failsafe..so i would like to get a on-board temp guage...but those RPM and other parts ill look into next ime i go into my LHS because i bought some RPM rims there so i know they have that brand of product

Handheld temp guage is the way to go man. Like Mr.T said the Trinity pivot block is a good way to go,You can find them on Ebay for a good price,Awhile back i found a carbon fiber chassis. That would shed some wieght, but i don't know how it would hold up strength wise. Turnbuckles wouldn't be a bad idea along with Hub carriers.

update:

Ok, i went to some electric races over the weekend (it was a roar championship race all weekend long but only electric) and they had a store inside the building. It was awesome since they had a HUGE room with one HUGE indoor carpet track and then the rest of the building was tables for people to repair, tune, and st up their cars. It was so cool except fro only electric being their. (if you want to check it out, google for summit raceway in fort wayne). well in one little corner they had a shop that was crammed with stuff.
Well they had a whole wall of team losi parts so i was in heaven. I searched through out the entire wall finding every last graphite part i could find. I grabbed the graphite bracket to hold down the gas tank and other stuff down..it was $17. Its REALLY light though and i believe it won't really break since it isn't under much pressure if any...I'm going to wait till i have a little more money to fully AD2 it. Well anyway they did not have the RRP or RPM parts i needed so i ordered a Aluminum Diff Gear and a RPM front bumper and it should be here tommorrow. So Got Nitro?, You better sned my car fast because I'm getting way to excited over it....you better use fast shipping because I'm having dreams about it now....well I'm out,
