The 1st tank

I'm starting a new thread since my last one isn't getting any more responses. Anyways, I am finally able to get the engine started and am ready for the break in process. I know for the 1st tank I'm only suppose to bring the throttle no more than 1/4 of the way. However, the truck doesn't even begin to move unless I floor it. What needle am I suppose to adjust? I have an LST2 by the way.

I would guess your LSN. but I wouldn't adjust anything, leave the sttings stock so you don't screw it up, and do the break in as best you can.

You start leaning the HSN first however, I would suggest reading the Heat Cycle method stickied in the Powerplant section here. LSN is the last thing you start working on.

having broken in an lst2 as my first nitro I was a bit surprised that it didn't seem to do much but be patient and follow the heat cycle method and after about a half a gallon and some tuning you'll be very happy. Good luck and let us know how its going. What fuel are you running btw?

On a side note, how do you tell if you've broken in your engine correctly?

adjust the hsn (high speed needle) 1/8 a turn until the car starts moving at the 1/4 throttle by the way what do u have? do NOT adjust the lsn! it sounds like ur fuel mixture is too rich
