Thanksgiving with my wife and father in law at our house. Been a tradition since we got married.
I've taken this entire week off just to recoup from all the hours i've been putting in at work. Hopefully by the time this week is over, I'll have caught up on all the forum posts!

Well I am about to head to bed, Thanksgiving is in the morning for me. I have 5 Pumpkins pies baked and a few others. I am bringing them to my guys they are having a get together so I am going to be bringing those and several other things over. A few of them this will be their first major holiday out of the states. I guess the boss will "try" to be nice...lol. So hope all of yours goes well and I am out!! Have a ton more cooking to do in the morning..

got one bird on the pit, and the other ready to fry. got a peanut butter cheese cake ready. green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, stuffing, home made mac and cheese, and some other stuff in the works.

can of beer isnt big enough!! used a yam can, filled with apple juice. also had apple juice in the water trays and apple wood on the fire. Best turkey ever!

Wow....jail bird or not, a can of yams up your back side would be a bit of a pinch...lol. I liked smoking turkey when I was in the states but here just can't do it.

I hope everyone had a good thanksgiving!!! I went over to my aunt and grams house where the whole family got together because thats what my gram asked for pretty much when she passed last week... It was a good day, I got stuck cooking most of it because I am the only one that can cook like my gram, (atleast I knew it was going to be good if I cooked) I think my gram would of loved it....
