Let's see, Diver for holding the QURC /RCNT bash last year. Team17 for losing to me at said bash . That is what convinced me this was too much fun to let go.
Mayhem for posting all those cool articles about new this and thats. All the guys who hang out in the Savage forum and actually post things more useful than "google is your friend." Of course Woodie for hosting such an awesome site. Oh, and I can't forget Ratzo...he said hi to me at Cunningham Park.

With all the recent antics lately I wanted to point out some positve things. I just wanted to say that some members have been really helpful recently to me since I have received my Savage roller. I am speaking of Sweetdiesel, for helping me out on my Savage issues, My clutch issues and some suggestions he has done to his own Savage. Also IMBROKEN for trading me his awesome Digi-cam that takes damn nice pics that I can post to help others.

what antics Jon? its spring time, cabin fever at its worst. its almost nice enough to go play outside, but not near often enough. I'm getting shakes from nitro withdraw!

i wanna thank some guy i dont even know, not even on this forum. he's on a vw forum i also frequent, and he sold me my super nitro RS4 rally. man that car sucked me back into the hobby quick.

I thought about this one for a long time, where I'm at I'm kind of the "RC guy." But you can always attribute an interest in something to someone else. So . . .

This goes back to about 1984, thanks to the tracks and shops that hocked themselves up to their asses to give us a place to race.

Thanks to DoubleStrike batteries (no longer in existence) for introducing me to true nicad technology and how to get the most out of a battery.

Thanks to AE and all the other serious manufacturers for providing the technical machines that make this hobby so great.

Third on my list would be my wife (only place she's third) for having an interest in RC, owning her own AE GT, and giving me someone to run with. Well, someone my own age anyway.

Second, the staff at RCNT for holding the lotto (look for a new thread in Projects soon) and keeping this independent site open, it's a breath of fresh air from all the other ad-slammed sponsored sites. OK sometimes it's not so fresh, it's farty. But different.

Most of all I thank all those newbies, not-so-newbies, and advanced hobbyists that I've been able to help and have offered help to me, the community is what makes this hobby great. Not winning, losing, baddest or worst RC, it's the people.
