I have read a lot about not running in cold weather, the after noons here lately have been in the 45 to 50 range. Is it okay to run nitro at 40 or so. I heat my engine with a heat gun some before I run and run just i little on the rich side. Thats fine to do right.

You'll be just fine. If the engine temps stay cold, wrap the cooling head with aluminum foil or a tube sock or wristbands though to keep it warmer. Nitro engines like heat....

Yeah, if the engines been broken in, that's right at the edge, temperature wise. Like MotoGod said, you have to keep some heat though. You probably want that engine to run between 220-240. Tune it to run good, then check the temp. You may only need to cover a portion of the head. And as always, run at your own risk when it's chilly outside.

As long as its 40 or above I will run it, I ran it once at 35 but had no issues getting it to stay warm. Thanks for all the help everyone.
