Has anyone tried trinity platnium fuel yet a bunch of guys at my lhs suggested it.

it been out for a while. But its pink and apperently it smells like sope when it comes out the exhaust

Nope its been around. I tried it not impressed. I did try Oddonellsa and I was impressed. The temps of my big block went down . I drove it the same and for some reason it was easier to breathe when I refuel or change my settings.

Trinity's fuels make a noxious exhaust smell. I changed from trinity MHP to byrons and the smell and stinging of the eyes is much better.

I think the platinum fuel runs a lower oil content than the MHP fuel. It's probably best for racing and if you don't care as much about engine life. A little more oil may give you a little less power, but it will give you better engine life unless your an expert tuner.

LHS told me that Odonells has a different type of oil that doesn't gum up the one way and pullstart.

My LHS is a bunch of retards... so I changed to a different LHS. I know castor oil has a tendency to gum things up, but synthetic also has a lower flashpoint than castor. I think almost all fuel these days has a mild mix of both synthetic/castor blend unless you make it yourself.

Yeah the other LHS (H P) suck they only push Traxxas and XTM products. They talk crap about all other LHS but their one buggy isn't even the best or one of the best. I brought my PCR PRO and MBX5 and they told me they wouldn't help me due to the fact that they don't carry those products. Go figure.

I like odonnels now and will stick to them till I get something different.

I started off with Monster HP and thought it was ok. When I switched to Byron's 20% I was enthusiastic with the results. I didn't change any of the settings and performance was great. After retuning the LSN, holeshot was great. Tuned the HSN and it was even better!

It burned cleaner, smell wasn't too toxic smelling and nitro residue was minimal.
