RC Driving Style
I installed this engine a month ago and it was running fine for a while broke it in then i go too run it today and it start off good like a normal engine but after running it a few i notice the engine runs slower like it is not giving me a hundred percent. for example i got the thing floored and it is going real fast then i refuel same fuel i have been using start it up i try to take off fast and it is so slow its not funny. it bogs down a little bit but nothing much. and i also must not have a low speed needle b/c i loosen the screw that is on the side of the carb and all it does is loosen the linkage so it doesn't open.


Plzz recomeend anything u have i mind to fix the problem thx.

u ran the engine, then u broke it in? if so. ur suppose to break the engine in, then u get to run the engine.

do u happen to know the temps of the engine? if u dont have a temp gun, u can spit on the cooling head.. "What's a spit test?" you ask. If you visit a track where nitro vehicles are run, you'll see it often. If funds don't allow even the least expensive temp sensor, racers simply spit on their cylinder heads. The theory is that spit should boil at around the same temperature as water (212 degrees F). If the spit dances around on the cylinder head and evaporates quickly, it indicates an engine temperature that's too high. If it just sits on the head and steams mildly, chances are that the engine is running just a little too cold. A slow simmer with evaporation in about 3 seconds is thought to ideal. It's a very inaccurate—and, yes, crude!—method, but I guess it beats overheating your engine to death.
