Your buggy is looking mighty sexy. I really dig the brake discs, they are simply beautiful. It looks like they spared no expense with all the little details of each part.

What are the rear chassis braces made of?

I saw the discs an went "whoa" these are nice....funny huh how you can get excited by brake discs?!!!

The braces are made of plastic but mounted in three places.

There are a couple of minor (actually one is quite big) corners cut that I'm not happy with.

1) The link that connects the two brake levers (Servo pulls 1st one, which is linked to the 2nd) is made of plastic which I worry won't be able to take much pressure, this should have been metal.
2)The main bearings taking wheel hubs/diff outdrives etc are smaller (externally) than the standard 8 x 16 x 5 (Something like 8 x 14 x 5) but have a sh1tty plastic outer to put on them to bring them up to 16mm. WTF?
So I've bought replacement mugen ones to put in
3) Centre diff needs shimming to eliminate play in mount. Kit supplied shims don't fit over outdrives, so will have to crack open my nicely silicone sealed diff...annoying....

Amazing what gets picked up in a photo without you realising thank god i only build while fully dressed...pink elephant is courtesy of my 2 year old and now resides on the fridge...

I HAVE a bad news for you did you hear about the fule tank ?! i didnt run my car until now but my frinds did whin they jump abig jumb the fule tank is broke the agent of the team magic in my contry he call me and he said that we have a free upgreed from the tm to our m1b for the fule tank to finesh this problem so call your agent and see what he will say about the fule tank ?? its an advise and did you paint your body i finsh my painting i will post my pix tommorw

Not really bad news, an upgrade is almost at release, I spoke to David Crompton today (the 8 times and current UK champ) who is running this buggy this year, a very helpful chap and is helping with the ongoing development of this buggy.

It seems the front chassis brace is the area of concern, while a lot of people have had no problems, it seems a real heavy nose landing can put stress through the fuel tank (one of the mounting points is on here). There are also some other upgrades due shortly too. Keep your eyes out for these too.

yes i did that i went to cut the front fule tank mount i will show you tommorw some pix did you paint you body yet i did it i will post it tommorw also i will have a race on 15th of this month i will join it with my m1b
