I've gotten alotta info from a guy in europe who has one.. I might buy it. Throw in ur 2 cents on my decision:\

I dont think anyone on this fourm has one. Sorry. Keep asking though. LOOKS Cool. Handling must be cool-is that the one with the L4 engine thats Low, and it has low CG?

my 2 cents what happens if you need a stock part? do you always need to order it over seas? This would mean a lot of down time, I like to get my car back running right in the parking lot or track. Dealing with mailoreder in general is always nerve racking imagine dealing with a problem over seas. Good luck. I think there a number of great sedans in the states why would you bother dealing with something like that.

:flaming:

Team Magic G4

Just got it running with 5-6 tank. Very light & handling was improved after I've change the spring (front medium, back super soft from yokomo). The car xcellerate very fast even with standard RB 5 port. Handling is light & setting was much simpler than my serpent 705. Overall very happy with this car..

now.. wait till after one of our regular racing competition..

YOU GUYS GET A RB 5 PORT? We pay the same amount and it has no engine. Aw man.

anyone have any tricks to share on the g4 pro

I've been racing it for 4 months now, what do you want to know? I'll try to help as good as I can if you want any tips or tricks..

The car looks good, it's not something that I would buy, but it looks like a great car, today was the first time i seen one(RCNitro). I think the main design of the chassis was based on the Serpent veteq 01/02 model. The box chassis and both lay downed servos was also on the Veteq. There were a few flaws on the Veteq that me and a buddy were talking about. The veteq chassis was based on real f1 car set up. The 2 brace that stiffen up the chassis was also part/mounted on the engine. The brace have too much stress that it will snap the engine block in half... Serpent got rit of the design quickly and went back to the original engine mounts. It look like the brace on the G4 are not part/mounted on the engine, so I don't think there will be a problem with it. It might, we will just have to see how things go.

You can see that the engine is "floating" and the rear is another different peice from the car. The G4 instead just extend the brace all the way to the rear bulks.... The G4 tank nees more designing or something, it looks ugly imo....

I wanted to correct a couple of things:

The laid-down front servo is something that might have come from the Veteq, maybe people are copying Serpent. The Centax clutch is a good example, everyone has them now.

But one thing the Veteq didn't have was the laid-down gas/brake-servo, that was a upgrade for the Veteq earlier this year, after the G4 came with it.

And about the tank. It's not there to be pretty you know, I would rather win a race with a strange tank which gives low centere of gravity, than to loose a race and go around bragging about how pretty your tank is..

Your right about the tank, however it was my own personal opinion... Also I didn't say anything about anyone copying anyone, I just imply that the G4 was base on the Veteq. I forgot when did they put up CAD pic of the g4, but the 950r was designed around dec. 02, you might be right about the lay down throttle servo too.

Yes ofcourse, it's the 950R that now has the laiddown throttle servo.. My mistake! I need to stop posting messages without reading them twice :-)
