In Readerswrite of the new issue of RCCA, this guy put a Hacker B50 8s and put a 16 cell pack and lit up the tires! Check this site at www.dualbl.com and click on TC3 at the top.

I could do a burnout with my ntc3. Remember, he just took out the driveshaft and made it RWD...not impressed

Cosidering I can't do one  I'm impressed!

Well I can break lose all 4 tires briefly on dry, smooth surfaces on a hard launch with foams. So if I removed the driveshaft, the car probably wouldn't move practically.

I dunno, what kinda engine do you have?

My TC3 can sit there spin all 4 tires but I dont get any smoke. Right now I have a problem being able to control my TC3 because all the tire spinning it just wants to do donuts and fish tail.

Sounds like you probably blew a diff gear or pinion gear for the diff. I'd imagine somewhere in the front.

It shouldn't just spin. I got an engine with some KILLER torque, and I can only spin off the line.

I have a Lehner brushless motor and a Schulze ESC. With my 11t motor it does not do this. I have a 28t/72 pinion and spur. The low end torque is unbelievable. I am ordering some taller gears to see if that helps. All 4 tires spin like crazy not just rear or just front.

It is now just I need to learn how to set it up right for such a powerful motor.

nitro 4-tech burnout marks/treads

[my friend has a nitro 4 tech with 2.5 trx engine.the thing does sic burnouts. the tread is lost in the middle from
the tire comming off the rim. its awesome!

Man I hope the smoke is coming fromthe tires not the speed controler. ha, My ntc3 will do mad burn outs but with no smoke. I am assume thoses tires are rubber and he has held the car there for a sec to get the tires hot.

The car was pushed up against something so it could go nowhere...not impressed.

thats pretty retarded i mean its cool that i know the it can be accomplished but its nothing impressive unless you want to break your car its pointless

I've done that with my NTC3. Makes more smoke when you use bleach and makes it even more slippery to break the tires loose. One thing is for sure, the engine will overheat if done enough times and your diffs will need servicing sooner or later.

Hopefully I remember to bring my digicam this weekend so I can take some footage of mine and my brother's 710 doing a "flying saucer" if you guys are interested. No bricks keeping it from going forward, just raw power.

ok, I held the car in place. I made it 2wd. ect...
there was also a vid on my site when i tried it w/ out holding it.. it's impossible to do, without locking the front tires, which is what 1:1 scale do to make smoke.. it's pretty much the same as 1:1. something holding the car from moving (brakes in teh 1:1, and a wall in my 1:10), and lots of power.
I didn't use bleach. I didn't warm them up before that was shot either. I turned the car on, set it down, turned the cam on, and floored it. smoked instantly, with "cold" tires. and if you think it's stupid, then make your own video, because i'd like to see it. and yeah, I've seen 1/5 do it, but they have front brakes. I don't, so i had to improvise.

still in no way does it impress me or any others i dont know i like burnouts but on 1:1 cars not on little cars like this its pointless unless there is some sorta contest....

The pic must've been moved, so here it is again:
