Well guys every year I race the mini class at my local race track. The first year I was their I raced a mini-t and it wan't all that great but it was a fast car, they had us mini-t guys races the rc18 guys. Sort of unfair but it was ok then the people with more money would buy brushless and lipo and place it in there rc18. IT was a really unbalanced race. I didn't mine comming in 3rd every time but I knew they if it was equal I would stand a better chance. So this year I go up there and asked how they are going to handle the mini class they said " You run what you bring" Awsome! THey are racing tlt with the half eights, this isnt really fair. So I decided since I dont race my tc4 any more to turn it into a truggy and race it. I will be posting pictures once it is all done.

Specs:
TC3(4) micro
27 turn motor
HS-81 MG servo
Prolines Crowd pleaszer mlst body
Tc with w/ 2.2on road tires (I hope they fit as good as they look)
Micro side by side battery pack

For the last week my brother and I have been designing the chassis.

Today he took it to school and milled it out. IF this plan works then he will be cutting better chassis on the CNC.
We also went to the LHS and found out that tc rims fit inside the 2.2 rims I think this is the combo I am going to do.
We also to asked them again about the mini class rules they still said "Anything goes" But when I told them about our project they told us we would have to race against the tlts (I guess they are a different class now)since we would have a 540 motor.

IS there is a differance between a stock 540 motor and this bushless motor Mamba 1/18th brushless motor
If so what motor has the upper hand? The brushless right?

well maybe it isnt as cool as i thought but yes, me and my brother bought a tc3 they have now closed all the on road tracks near me. So to keep it from being a self queen, We have decided to turn it in to a 1/18th truggy, it is about the size of a MLST

EDIT:
This is where I got the idea from... http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66598

I think the census is seeing a TC3 which is 10th scale and a MLST is a 1/18th scale...How do you make a 10th scale an 18th scale..?

Well if 1/18th to you guys is anything the size or a mini-t, micro rs4 ect.....
Then you just shrink the chassis.
