Today, the new plugs did their thing. The Hyper came to life with little effort. After running tank three around my circle, I decided to do a little off road action with tank four.

This engine rocks. The onroad portion...took it easy per the instructions. Had to punch it a couple of times just because. Talk about acceleration and speed...whoa, this things got plenty of it; makes my Fantom powered T-Maxx look like it is crawling.

The offroad portion amounted to some backyard running. Grass at the three inch mark, and a couple of mounds of dirt to get some air off of. This thing ate the grass like it was concrete. Nothing major with the air (afterall, I'm still breaking in the engine). BUT let's just say the throttle response and gyroscopic affect of turning the wheels for steerage while airborne is impressive. Nearly did a front flip on a measily three foot jump.

I can not wait until I finish breaking the engine in and getting the sucker tuned in for some real perfomance.

The only thing negative that I observed (and I expected it during break in) was that it was a bit sluggish to switch gears, but once it shifted into second...stand back its off to the races.

So far, I'm digging my most recent investment.

Glad to see you got that thing running right!! What plug did you end up using?

when that thing is broken in, get some video footage. I would love to see the 8 port in action. Better yet get someone to drive your T (not Pirata) and film a drag race so we can really compare.

Fox Gold Series (standard long) for the plug.

As for drag racing my own T-Maxx, I'd be embarrassed to show my Savage stomping my T-Maxx. This thing will eat the stock Savage alive, and thus my T-Maxx.

But I will video it in action once it is dialed in.

Sounds Cool. Would you reccomend that Engine in the AE Monster GT? Or maybe I should just get the Savage and the Hyper8? I dont know...

I can't speak to the specifics of the AE truck. I can tell you this, the Savage is great. The stock engine is better than average, but if you have the money an upgrade is not a bad idea. If the Picco OUTLAW cost less and was available when I bought my Savage and Hyper, I might have gone that route. BUT, so far I am very happy with what I see of both the Savage and the Ofna Hyper 21 8-port. Looks like a great combination.

SkyMaxx I really want to see that bad boy inaction please get video and will you take i picture of your truck and post it. Wit body off of corse!!! :w00t:

Check the gallery, I've already got pics of my Savage posted (body on and off).

Once I get the engine dialed in, expect video.

That is the new engine...the Hyper has a purple cooling head just like the Nitrostar. It does not look very different.
