I think tower has it for $360 plus you can get a coupon online for $30, $40 if you spend more than $400.

id say its a pretty damn good deal theres a guy racing it here and winning...his is bone STOCK!!!

well i have been racking my little brain for my first monster and have had atleast every truck made on the top of my list for one reason or another and have always came back to the tnx for some reason or other....I'm not sure cause i still dont own a monster yet. i am new to the big truck seen and will eventually race I'm sure, the tnx has been whip'n a$$. but my main concern would be its abusability(my form of durability) i havent seen one up close cause I'm in bloody ole' england right now so I'm going off pictures and reviews. i have heard that the shocks are shi* and gotta go but what about the drive axles. those are plastic as well are they not. does anyone know if hopups are on the way? sorry to jack this thread but i need some input and this thread was already here. would this be a good 1st monster?

just read the review linked a few posts up and i am sold!

i'd say hit up terracrusher.net 4 as much info as possible. i've looked at the truck up close and its a tamiya alright (at least in the thinking if u will). however...i will say i was curious in that 1 of the tamiya factory drivers was racing on the stock shocks.

he posts often in their forums over at crusher. very free w/info on his and others tnx's. somethin 2 think about. he told the straight on how his car was setup.

Like Banditxx mentioned the TNX team was ruling the proline challenge prior to running out of fuel. At the big race; Radio Control Car Action Monster Madness race in Enfield, CT, they didn't run out of fuel and finished 1st & 2nd with Slaydens REVO 3rd. Sounds like this baby is a winner.

alot of hobbie shop dont stock the full line of parts so if mail ordering parts is not an issue to you then get it,but for mr when i break something i want my truck up and running the same day or next day, mail ordering parts can have your truck sitting for a week or two. just a thought to consider

The only problem with that is its about half the cost of a brand new truck. Why not just buy 2 and have a spare everything, including motor?

slipper clutch adjustment

just wondering about a good setting for that adjustment nut in front of the spur gear, don't want to melt anything.
