Well I for one was waiting for someone to get one and write up a review. I was set on either the MGT or the TNX for some time. At the time I got my Savage no-one had the TNX (i dont remember if it was even released yet) and the LHS didnt have any MGTs. To me Tamiya has always been the cheeper of the electric crowd. This is their first Nitro and I was uneasy about buying a first generation one.

If I had the money, a TNX would be appearing on my doorstep very soon! I saw one totally clean up the small-block MT class at my local track a while ago, even posting faster lap times than the big-block and unlimited MT class trucks! Add in the real-world reports of its durability and I wish I had one!

Maybe I should consider selling something off so I can get one...

The top two drivers in the proline maxx challeng were driving tnxs, then they both ran out of gas and the revo took home the gold. I'm verry impressed.

Any updates on the TNX? I am torn between a savage and a tnx. Was going savage because it has been said to be the toughest MT.

I saw one run, it seemed to be pretty quick but the guy driving couldn't drive for $h_t. it seems like itcan take a beating though.

Wizen2002 you are the first person I have heard say the savage needs any mods. What version of the savage did you have? What mods are you talking about. I called my LHS today and they dont carry Tamyia parts at all. That sucks if I decide to go with the tnx.

Keep the imput coming. I got some time before I get my new MT.

I got myself a TNX yesterday at my LHS :)

Haven't had the chance to do engine break in and such as it has been raining today

You really can't go wrong with an OS mill... Sounds & looks like a fairly simple in design, basher... Too bad the parts aren't carried at most LHS's... Good luck with it, & be sure to post some bashin vids of this thing in action...

I own terra crusher and didn't like it's low power perfomance. And would like to know how TNX runs vs. terra crusher.

I dont own either, but I have been told it is alot better. You might want to check out terracrusher.net for more tnx owners.
