Yep, that chassis is very similar to the Dark Impact I just built. Don't worry about those diffs, they are tough! I'm running a 16T Speed Gems mod motor with no problems.
Did you build the diffs? I had to build mine. Very impressive quality.

I did build mine, 14 hours to build that little !@#$% buggy! I enjoyed it a lot though! It was my first kit RC. I was thinking maybe yours came prebuilt because of the first pics. The quality of the diffs really surprised me. Tamiya had everything perfect, down to the shimming.
