Starts next Friday! Who else thinks this will be a funny ass movie? Will Ferrell is a funny mofo, I can't wait to watch this movie!
 
Ill probably see it but Ill wait till video (Last movie I saw in the theatre was Waterboy or Twister). I like Will Farrell but I think since weatherman, hes been trying to hard to act retarded. Just doesn't seem like the same dude from SNL. I still think hes funny dont get me wrong, but he has his times..
 
I'm soooo going to see this on opening night when it comes out! Ever since someone originally posted the trailer on here a few months back.
 
Oh, I think this movie will be hilarious! Ferrell is just naturally funny and the trailers I've seen (not to mention his Sprint commercials) look outrageous!

4U, it's "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy" you're thinking of and any movie that has Christina Applegate saying, "Do me on it!" is a winner in my book!

Anyway, about the movie..... I am not a huge Will Ferrell fan. I think he is trying to hard sometimes. He was hillarious in Old School but I was not thrilled with Anchorman. Anyway... I think the movie has a chance to be really funny... although it is a poke at NASCAR... I will wait for the DVD.

This one I will see. No doubt. And I think a parody of NASCAR will be FAAAAAR better than that half-assed insult "Days of Thunder". That movie was just a steaming pile.
 
The only problem with soooo many trailers is that you may have seen all the funny bits! I think I will wait for DVD,but it does look funny.

Just compair the names of the lead characters

Days of Thunder...Cole Trickle= Boring

Talladega Nights....Ricky Bobby= Crazy Redneck with a race car lOl

What? I thought that was an accurate and insightful look at NASCAR life, the friendships that are developed, the funny practical jokes played on drivers and the realization of a dream come true by winning Daytona!

You mean to say, banging the hot neurosurgeon doesn't really happen in NASCAR? Now I'm bummed!:gulp:
 
Well, one thing seemed accurate in that movie. For some reason these guys get hot chicks. Hell, look at Kyle Busch. If he didn't drive a race car, you know he'd be locked in his basement compiling his authoratative guide to World of Warcraft with his bespectacled, pimply-faced, somewhat pudgy girlfriend who is "just plain excited" about the release of the next Narnia movie.
Do you honestly think some hottie would otherwise lay one of her seriously-overpriced-well-manicured fingers on a guy like Greg Biffle if he DIDN'T drive a race car and.....ready???......make a boatload of cash?

Yea, that's what I'm hoping this one isn't. Benchwarmers was a lot like that.

No doubt money will get you alot of very nice things in life. In fact I can't find the picture and I am not sure if there was one... but NASCAR. com reported a really hot woman standing outside of Jr's hauler with a shirt that read... "Future Trophy Wife" accross the front. Funny! Now why is it that cute woman get so far in life?

Now speaking of Hot woman... why do you never see Jr or Tony escorting a nice young lady down pit lane?

They are too busy playing on the mountain......Maybe we will see SD or MW in victory lane one day :hehe:
 
I think this movie is going to be hilarious. Will Ferrell is a crack up. Anchorman was funny as hell!!! The first time, it was kinda stupid, but the second time, it was the funniest movie ever. Kinda like Napolion (sp) Dynamite.
 
Just saw this movie tonight. FUNNY. They coulda left out the *** stuff though. Seems thats a part of every movie now, and its just getting annoying. That aside, the movie is funny.
 
I went see it last night....A waste of time and money! Every thing about it sucked :(
