Here is my old savage wanna be!! I dont have the T-Savage any more, I Sold It because of one thing it still would not take abuse.

the roll bar wont do much, will probably just wreck the batt box and the side of the tranny instead of bending.

the pipe looks a bit rediculous to me too.......
 
Not exactly the truck of the year! Personally, i dont think i would have bought a maxx to begin with. They are so cheaply made and break all the time. I know because my friend is constantly complaining that he keeps breaking parts while my friends and i are talking about the best bashing time of our lives with our savages!

Because I kept hitting the engine head every time I gave it the gas. And the engine melted the stock pipe and I really wanted a savage.

my friend bent he's roll bar, so I slapped it on the battery box with some screws and glued battery box together and it did not brake, it was very strong, on the other side of the roll bar it was held on by tons of zip-ties

I did not sell it when it look like that, it look like this
And I sold my .26 separate. The picco .21 had a defect it the engine so I sent it in and bitch out the manager for like a week straight and demanded that they send me the new .26 engine and they did because all the picco .21 had the same defect, that why the discontinued that model.

This is what it look like when I sold it, I got $320 for it. I spent the money on my El-rusler and my Computer.

and after selling my T-Maxx. I upgrade my el-rustler, about a half year later I put it on eBay and in 2 hour of put it on eBay I got a call for a guy saying he wanted to trade a savage for the rustler, the savage look like in good condition from the pics, he sent me the savage to check it over and I did I liked it so I send the rustler out and now finely after 2 years of try to get a savage I finally got one.

Now It time to make my savage it to a Beast. :whip:

That roll bar is held on with snot and a zip tie.
Has to be for looks only.
One good wreck, and everything thats connected will rip out.

OH OK. Looked better when it was preped for sale.

yup and it was pretty strong but it did not solve the problem of the engine head get hit so I bought the roll cage and that fix the problem.

I spent so much money on that t-maxx It make me cry.

I hated selling it I loved that picco .26 It had insane power it destroy all moving parts on the t-maxx I had to get harden steel diff and primary gear. but it was costing me to much money every other time I ran it broke some thing.

now I am making what I had in my maxx in to what I want in my savage, I am think about geting a new engine a picco .28 :banana: :wasted: :wasted: :breakdown

Thats a sweet engine.
I have the .27 (green head).
I feel that Picco makes a great engine.
 
when I buy the picco .28 I'm get the 3 speed and a 20t clutch and a 47t spur the beast will do some insane wheelies and fly like a bird. Lol just like my old maxx with out breaking problems I hope :ponder2:

You'll love the results of that combination, I'm sure.
I have 2 friends with that set up, and there trucks are fast as poop.
 
my friends are tell me that I am going to blow my trans and my diffs. I know a 3 speed will fix the trans problem, will the diffs blow from the power?

what can i do about blowing the diff? shim the diffs I gess.
 
You should be fine with 4 gear diffs and that engine. I used to have the picco .27 (werks racing orange head)with 3 speed/Nova cups and not once did I blow a diff. 3rd gear will come quickly for you.
