t maxx tranmission problem

hey guys I'm new here but had a question. i have a t maxx 2.5 and it wont move. starts right up but wont go into gear i took the trans apart nothing seems stripped i also took it to a hobby shop and they couldnt figure it out. so does anyone have any ideas why my t maxx wont move???

Make sure all of the pins are in the driveshaft outdrives, centers and the four outers. Check for missing wheel hex pins. Is the slipper in good shape and adjusted properly? How about the clutch on the engine? Does it have reverse? If so, make sure the shift linkage isn't stuck in between gears.

Does it have reverse? It could also be due to the linkage on the reverse servo being stuck or not moving far enough, so it's stuck between gears.

it does have reverse. how would i go about fixing that problem? and if i take the reverse out and do a foc will that fix it?

It will if that's your problem. Try manually pushing/pulling on the linkage wire and see if it moves any further.
