Anyone have some tips on how to get the stock T maxx tires to grip bite a little better? Have the T maxx 2.5 and i find these tires just constantly spin out.. Don't have cash for new ones at the moment

If they are the tractor looking tread you can reverse the tread by putting them on the opposite side and they grip alot better. This is the tread I'm talking about. View attachment 11835

Siping the stock Chevron tires will increase the side bite traction and reduce spinning out somewhat.
Side bite and those tires have always been lacking. Siping helps, but don’t expect miracles.

I've run them backwards and it tends to wander around a lot more. Like driving a snake, at least when on pavement. I've also siped my tires like SnookMan did. Alows the tread to flex more and adds a bit more bite when on uneven terrain.

Save up and get different wheels/tires. I've really come to like the ones that come on the newer t-maxx. I have a set on my revo and my savage along with another set coming in the mail for my savage that are the wider/offset wheel. I have the standard ones on it now and it's pretty tippy. You can usually get a full set of 4 on the rims off ebay:

Not great traction, but way more grippy than the chevrons. I was running the chevrons on my savage last weekend just to try them again (were my go to tires back in the day) and I couldn't believe how little grip they got. They last forever though. Which is why I liked running them. But if it's below 70F outside, they get hard and don't grip worth a hoot.

Ya I think I'm going to cut groves into them. Going to cut them a little different. Instead of cutting strait lines going to cut v's this will actually give them more edges and grip until I buy new
