I have a T-maxx and i moved three years ago and I just found my T-maxx which has been sitting in it's box for three years. I got it started and replaced all it's broken parts. It overheats and stalls within about three minutes of running. I've replaced the cooling tower. It makes kind of a low pitch sound instead of what is supposed to sound like. If I try to jump it stalls the second it lands. Please help me.

You might be running way lean. Try opening the HSN up, or bring it back to factory and retune from there.

are you using 3 year old nitro? nitro only stays good for about 6 months after being opened. Or you might have a warped or pitted piston.

nitro gas

hey well i am in the same situation. I just got my t maxx 2.5 together after about 3 years of it sitting lol. i got everything ready to go and i tried to start it. It started up but the idle was crazy high ( it actually scared me lmfao ) so i tried to lower the idle but it didnt do anything. i didnt let it run like that for more than 4 seconds because i know thats not good for it. but I'm not sure why it is doin that. is it because my fuel is old? or is there something else wrong?

hi mate
yes it sounds like ya nitro fuel has gone off buy some new fuel then put ya truck back to factory settings and start from there lol.....
