Today is a beautiful day in Michigan 65-70 degrees, thats what somebody would say if there t-maxx ran rite. I have got the trx 2.5 and I have got a leak between the flywheel and the crankcase. I have noticed this before but thought it was my link between the exhaust and the conecting piece the the manifold so I bought a new muffler and it still did it so I looked and it coming out of that gap between the flywheel and the crankcase. If you have a trx 2.5 you will see a little gap between thme right there is were its coming out of.

Hello, I may be wrong but...
I heard that if you use after run oils, especially if you use a lot it will leak out from somewhere down there. Which is perfectly normal and not a "bad" thing.

Thats my guess, as long as your performance is good?

Its not when I run it I will run it and the it will stall and won't start. It will start but it will take five minutes before it starts.

check the bearing in the front of the case after a while they can develop a leak

I tried to get it down just to the case but how do you get the flywheel off.
I had everything off up to the flywheel so the clutch and the pinion gear and couldn't get the flywheel off.

the flywheel what you have to do is either bind up the engine whioch there is 100 ways to do or what i do is just use a pair of channel locks to hole the flywheel and my 4 way wrench to loosen the ckutch nut

Well I've got bad news I took my t-maxx to my lhs and gave me the worst news ever my engine is worn out and so now my truck will be parked for 2-3 weeks :constipat. I'm going to do the traxxas engine replacement have any of you did that program, is it good.
