umm...I didn't know smartech is that bad! I found something on this site www.rseetoys.com. I thought I would give a try. Now probably I just wait to get enough money to buy something different.

Traxxas probably sold them the rights, or parts to copy it since I'm shure they would rather push the Revo these days.

Bingo!!! I read somewhere (can't remember where)that the Smartech is the original layout for the T-Maxx but Traxxas made a few changes before it was ever produced.

that things a Wanna be tmaxx. so its a trigger (like wiggers and stuff). lol:)

so wait.... if its so much like a tmaxx, and the parts are pretty much interchangeable. And it is a bit less quality, why not save $100, and then when you break parts or upgrade, use the money that you save?? I'm not going to do this, but its just an idea.

well, the engine is a POS, to get it even close to a t-maxx you would have to change the engine, tranny, and engine mounts to get it close.

However if you want a tough maxx, you would have to change those (and much more) anyway.

haha i saw that they say the truck is "more stronger" in the paragraph, doesn't seem like smartech knows much about anything...

More than 90% parts interchangeable. All this magic wheel really needs is a new engine and new exhaust system. Good truck for the money, Traxxas sold the design to them. Smartech doesn't type up the english... peeps there use a translator.

I couldn't buy something from a website that refers to their product as a toy. Us 'round here (had to throw in a texan accent) refer to our machines as a hobby, not a toy.

Well, that's all they really are, toys .... expensive but forms of amusement. :)
