I'm looking for an engine that's a little different from your typical 3.3's and red dots. I'd like to keep as much of the 4908 drive drain to save on weight. I've heard of O.S. but don't know anything about them. Is there an engine that will bolt up to the stock mount, retain the stock linkage and ez start? I'll be running on a shorter track, so something in the .18 range would probably suit me fine. Thanks as always.

From what I hear people have been having good luck with the O.S. "TM" line of motors. They are a direct fit as well and I believe flywheel and CB is a direct fit as well

OS no longer makes the 18TM, but they do make a 21TM... might be a bit more $ than your looking to spend and more power than your looking to deal with.

The 18TM I had in my revo was a perfect engine for that rig. For the power curve, not much different than the 3.3, but tuning was easy as pie and it held a tune forever. Day after day, bash after bash, it would run great requiring only a little tweak on the HSN to accommodate to the weather.

Here's a link to the 21Tm: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXRTM1&P=ML
