RC Newbie
This all started cause I've built 3 T-Maxx's and had a pile of parts.
In the begining an idea:
Then the fabrication and joining of the two:
Rear suspension mounted up:
Transmission 2.5 w/Robinson Racing FOC:
Rear End Completed:
Front Suspension Comes into play:
Throw in some Electronics:
Custom extra long drive shaft:
Where I'm @ now:
Well made a few changes today.
ok my home made throttle servo holder, 6 duratrax shocks, muffler, and the black springs on rear red maxx springs on front.
Love the way that revo pipe makes it look and a full set of matching shocks aint to shabby either.
I'm pretty happy with the way the servo holder came out too.
Well got the upper chassis braces all fabricated and installed.
Really sitffened up the chassis, its nice and solid now.
I think its going to be able to really take a beating.
All thats really left to do is make a muffler mount and buy some fuel and give her a test drive.
Will be ordering fuel next week since I missed work most of this week due to back injury sigh.
Pics:
Trying to find someone I know that has camera that does vids so you guys can see this thing on its virgin run.
Ok pics, came out pretty good for an old junk body.
can't wait to get some fuel and try it out.
Ok guys an gals this is like 2 months of building put into one post, just thought you might enjoy my project which I have named T-ROD.
Love to hear your comments, let me know what ya think
