This all started cause I've built 3 T-Maxx's and had a pile of parts.

Love the way that revo pipe makes it look and a full set of matching shocks aint to shabby either.
I'm pretty happy with the way the servo holder came out too.

Well got the upper chassis braces all fabricated and installed.
Really sitffened up the chassis, its nice and solid now.
I think its going to be able to really take a beating.
All thats really left to do is make a muffler mount and buy some fuel and give her a test drive.
Will be ordering fuel next week since I missed work most of this week due to back injury sigh.

can't wait to get some fuel and try it out.

Ok guys an gals this is like 2 months of building put into one post, just thought you might enjoy my project which I have named T-ROD.
Love to hear your comments, let me know what ya think

First I'd like to say, "Welcome to RCNT."
Then I'd like to say that's quite a build. Nothing I enjoy more than building or rebuilding.
You really did a major job there. Keep us posted.

I still havnt run it I'll probably wait until spring now.
I live in Maine and we have been getting snowed in.
I havnt run any of my RC's in over a week I'm jonesing bad my e-pede is sad I dont have any fuel for the project, my T-Maxx is in pieces, my RS4 needs a engine and shocks, snow hasnt melted off the road in 2 weeks..............SIGH~~~~

Thanks for the welcome guyz I'll probably hang around here a little more now too.

Wow nice rig. Would love to see the thing run. Good job. and welcome to rcnt!

Well Shaker that ski kit wouldnt fit it because it has a XXX-NT front suspension but would be cool.
I've been into rc's for over 28 years now and only run electrics in the winter, nitro's are too much of a pain in the rump in the winter spend more time trying to get them in tune than actually runing them.
I like I said live in Maine and the weather and air dencity changes so quick in the winter that tuning is close to imposable.
I have seen temp go up by 5 degrees in less then 5 min. and back down 10 degrees in that same amount of time.
For me nitro is a summer thing lol
