well the slash driver is an idoit he manage to beak the back end of it with a non vxl engine so ill see what happens. i didnt think the engine would compare.
 
it would be faster than hell but the gears in the black tranny arent as strong as the gears in the 3.3 tranny unless you upgrade the gears..
 
I am guessing that is a question vs. a statement. So to answer as if you were asking....In my opinion no not really. It is easier to install but is a lot more expensive and isn't any stronger than the Picco. For the money the Picco is a better buy as far as I am concerned.
 
Yes the .21 seems to has a small touch more bottom end torque but the .26 has MORE than enough and will out run it in RPM too so....easy choice to me.
 
I've decided i want to try to spend lesss on an engine. I've look around found a few but would like some suggestoins. How good is the axial .28?
 
What makes them so bad and is the picco .28 good?

Yes Picco makes very good engines. The .28 is going to kill your truck though unless the entire driveline is beefed up and you are running metal gears, upgraded diffs...ect. The Axial engines just don't last more than a couple gallons before they become un-tuneable paperweights. Also keep in mind the other engines you are looking at IE .28 engines are big block engines and will not fit unless you have the extended chassis. Just in case the 3.3 chassis is NOT a big block chassis...it is extended in the front, not the rear as is needed to put in a big block engine.
 
2.5 I got it to stop reving all the way up but now it straveing for gas.
