So i just got my self a project t maxx I bought it off craigslist its got an extended chassie, a big block .26 motor 3.3 tranny, alot more this is my first gas rc truck and i think it will be a great challenge just askin for advice from u veterans of the hobby i dont know much about these any input helps call out any parts u see missing or any ideas for the truck Thanks alot guys hope to hear from yall!!

Well, that looks like a typical 2.5 chassis with a "mid-block" OFNA 26 engine that was made to fit in the maxx without a conversion chassis.

It has RPM arms, so that's good.

Depending on what you intend doing with it, I don't think 4 standard shocks are going to cut the mustard. ;) Should make it ride really plush though.

Thanks for the advice Bro I do have a question for u how do think i can set up the throttle for it ?
 
Well, there's a couple things you can do.
1) set it up like a 2.5 maxx with the throttle servo up front and a pivot post right by the exhaust that has a rod that goes between the carb/spur.
2) re-arrange the entire chassis and mount the t/b servo next to the engine.

2 is more reliable and less likely to cause bind because you can situate it how you see fit.
1 is easier. ;)
