t-maxx conversion issue

ok so i just finish converting my t-maxx to forward only. so after I'm all done and dying to test it out, i go and start the truck up and come to my surprise it rams right into my foot in reverse. anyone did this conversion and had this prblm? its only running in reverse. i used the rrp conversion kit on my 2.5 maxx

Hmmmm. I assume you followed the instructions and removed every part it says to remove, so I have to ask. Did you have the diffs out for some other reason? I've been running forward only for so long now I can't remember how reverse works. If you haven't messed with the diffs then take the trans out and make sure it's right. Should be only 6 gears in there.

Yep, sounds like your diffs are in upside down. If you didn't take your diffs out now, they have been out at some point and put back wrong. Which means when you thought you were in forward before, you were actually in reverse.

yea you guys were right i had the diffs on backwards. no wonder i felt a loss in power for a while thanks for the help.
