ok got a tmaxx 3.3 broke in as directed drove for two hours and transmission gears stripped. (no abuse just runnin in street). gear in the input shaft sheared. while i have the trans out what do i need to do to make this thing water proof? i like to have a little mudd on the body without fried electronics. thanks guys and is there anybody who races around the macon georgia area. just trying to make a few driving budies. thanks
:)

Do a quick search. This has been a hot topic lately. Basically sensor safe blue rtv on the servo seams and the battery and rx box. There's a recent thread about some air filter mods, too. Also on the servo, a shock seal o-ring on the output gear seals that part well. Shaving the horn a bit to avoid binding and using a bit of grease on the o-ring and screw seals the deal.

thanks alot i did it just got to get the trans part and gonna run this thing. got a good mud spot to hit to.
