t-maxx 3.3 stuck in 2nd wend warm

help please my t-maxx is stuck in second, i think when it gets warm.

i can shift into second when it is cold, i can do this a couple of times b4 it seems to stay ion second. slow laggy starts, never really hits top speed, simptoms that i have. when placed in reverse it drives normally, no lag, yeh just not too shure on how to repair, i am still really green, only been driving for a couple months.

can anyone please help me

Sounds like your shift point might need adjusting. If you've never adjusted it, it might be a hair off. Get the engine to temperature (around 220F), then see what the trans does. If it shifts normally, you need not do anything. If it won't shift, check the manual for a diagram of how to adjust the shift point. It is probably about 1/16th of a turn off.

ok i made it shift sooner, it shifts into second now but it is still slow off the line in forward gear, in reverse it is normall................... wow this is a good one
