What modifications are necessary to run my Tmaxx 3.3 in Snow. I'm not talking deep snow, just in my driveway or on a hard packed crust.

Thanks All

water proof servos and stuff like that. I'm sure if you do a serch you will get a lot of info on this

waterproof the servos and radio set ( balloons do wonders ) and make sure your not sucking water into the motor

I thought I would need waterproof servos. But what else can be affected by the snow hitting it. Is the drivetrain sealed?

Regardless how deep the snow is, it has an an uncanny ability to find your electrical stuff and ruin it. Which generally sends your rig screaming uncontrollably off into the distance into something very hard with a spray of parts and cusswords as you get to ground zero and survey the destruction.

Just do a quick search for waterproof or plasti-dip.

Servos, receiver, battery pack. Receiver and battery pack can be put in a balloon, then a dab of RTV in the neck and a ziptie to seal it up. The servos can be ballooned as well, but they are generally exposed and prone to getting punctures. Plasti-dip works best.

Or, for servos, upgrade to water proof/resistant servos. That's your best option.

I know that I can get waterproof servos but can I get a waterproof receiver box. I know the e-maxx has a waterproof receiver box, but can I buy one for the t-maxx 3.3?????

olds97 lss is right on the money. i used ballons/plasti-dip/h2o resistant servos and even baggies. a snockle on the carb wont hurt. ongood luckly pain is the clean-up before & after.

Tmaxx

get the water proof sevo's and put the reciver and the batt pack in a baloon thats the best you can do and if you really want to keep the snow out seal the baloons to
