i did a truck pull with my stock 2.5 and melted the spur gear so i changed it and now when i start it, it will idle and then the RPMS go higher and higher its like someones pulling the trigger and its spitting out fuel

Dude....didn't you already post up on this? I told ya to check your clutch spring, but like metalhead Matt said, check your slipper clutch. It may not be tight enough. I usually crank mine in, then turn it out a quarter turn or so.....hope this helps.
 
Did you hook the linkage back up to the carb? Turn your tx and rx on? Batteries fresh? If the spur was the only problem, and you fixed it and now have a new problem, it has to be something you did while fixing the spur. Or your sucking air from somewhere. You sure you didn't cream something?
