My t-maxx 2.5 has had a 3.3 engine installed and the only upgrades to any other part was upgraded differential gears and bearings. Not sure what the gears are exactly. Then the slipper clutch upgrade whitch I am expecting any day to install. Due to the bigger motor on the 2.5 chassis and tranny what else would be a wise and necissary upgrade to the vehicle to be able to better handle the bigger motor?:\

The center and wheel shafts will be next on the list of upgrades if you run it hard and don’t treat it like a baby.

Thanks and I kinda expected the shafts would be. Also I say I don't run it as hard as I wish only from the driving experience I lack thus far. But it will come with more time behind the controls. In the past with my expirience with all vehicles I only know two speeds, Wide ass open and stop!

:hehe: You will need to learn a little throttle control once you get the 3.3 broken in and tuned with the short 2.5 chassis. Otherwise you will be landing on the lid or looking for a wheelie bar.

Already been broken in and I have a wheelie bar. I don't believe I could run it at all without one. Now I just need aluminum bulkheads and a new front bumper. Damn thing kicks into second and it hard to keep my eyes on it!
