I viewed the pics and video all you have to do is enter the (3) three letters next to the box near the top of the screen in the middle and after looking at the pics and vids your linkage needs to be straitend out so that your servo horn is horizontal to the chassis and the throtle and brake linkage run straight back from there after that its just a matter of playing around with the stop collars until you get it right at least thats what I had to do here is a picture of my linkage hope this helps ... https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=6061&stc=1&d=1208152740 notice the spring on the brake side insted of the fuel tubbing it works great!!

Ok, so I fixed up the problem with the carb not closing properly but the brakes still dont work well... Maybe its because I need to get a 6V Hump pack battery to strengthen the servos and a spring to replace the tubing? However they used to be much stronger...

The main problem thats been making me so mad since I first got the thing was the constant movement of the T-Maxx during idle. It wasn't as bad last year but now as soon as it warms up like I mentioned many times it the wheels keep spinning during idle and it will drive faster and faster. I noticed that if I pick up the truck the tires will spin faster and faster until it seems like the engine revs up to mid-full throttle and the wheels spin extremely fast. At this point I always return the truck back to the ground and it will continue to drive. (But slower).
I got the truck to idle perfectly without much jerking or anything at all for a while, until I did a few high speed passes...

I tried lowering the idle speed till the screw came out quite far (the idle screw will come totally out if you continue lowering the idle counterclockwise correct?), until the engine sounded like it would almost cut out and shut down during idle, than I turned it up a bit so it would run. This still does not stop the acceleration during idle! It only makes it harder to start when cooled off!

This is really bothering me and making every tank of gas seem like a diagnostics test! Its really not fun when you can't bring the t-maxx to an idle and have full control over it. This must have something to do with the clutch or gearing, any ideas? My hobby shop is always very busy and it is hard to get the guy to look at it right away.

You have the carb closing now. That was done by a linkage adjustment. Turn on the radio and Rx, but do not start the car. Keep working the brake and follow the linkage to the servo. Make the adjustment. You need to get full throttle one way, and good braking the other.
Setting your idle should only require a minuscule movement, and you will hear the RPM change. If your LSN is set too lean it is very difficult to lower the idle, and will also cause the engine to run hot. You need to establish the happy spot between the LSN and the idle screw.
